Targoviste - between myth and reality

Synopsis

Centuries ago, Vlad Tepes, a Romanian prince, became well known in Europe because of his bloody habit, impaling. For this reason, people called him Vlad the Impaler. One of the favourite cities to express this bloody wish, was Targoviste. That’s why, Vlad the Impaler has been associated with Dracula, and Targoviste as one of Dracula’s house.
How does it look Targoviste nowadays?

A very quiet town, the only army that makes noise is for the celebration of the town.

"Demeter" is the name of the ship with which Dracula travelled from Romania to England, in a most thrilling story within a story!

Dracula's influence. Part 4. Filmography

The most recent Vampire hit is Twilight, based on Stephenie Meyer's novel. Have you seen it? Please add your summary, links and comment. The Library suggests The Internet Movie Database (imdb), where you can read all about it!

Hi! I'm Eleni Regou from Elefsina.. I'm studing for my university exams but I keep an eye on this blog! I watched ''Twilight'' and I've loved it! It was really amazing! There were many things that impressed me like how much Edward love Bella but how much, the same time, he was scared of dont hurt her... Also Bella was in love with him although he was a vampire..! Phrases that stuck in my mind was:

-Isabella Swan: About three things I was absolutely positive. First, Edward was a vampire. Second, there was a part of him, and I didn't know how dominate that part might be, that thirsted for my blood. And third, I was unconditionally and irrevocably in love with him.

-Edward Cullen: [to Bella, while in a tree] "You're like a drug to me. Like my own personal brand of heroine."

All this love, all this passion... I hope that it can really exist... :-)

Hi!My name is Christine Gabrani and I hane seen Twilight!!!
Twilight astoudw the audience from the very first time.It is amazing how it derists LOVE!!!
The scene where Bella asks Edward to bite her so that they be together always is ausome! The sacrifice shows real love. The fact that Edward refuses also shows his deep feeling!!!
A question for you:Why did Edward and his "family" have to wait the rain to play baseball???

In this week-end i saw Twilight.First ,when i heard the word "vampire" i wasn't so convince to see it.But i decided to sacrifice because the main actor is so GOOOOD :D..and my weekend became "tru".
i don't like very much the unreal stories (with vampires,ghosts...) but i adore the love stories.
Twilight is an emotional film because it join on the same stage two things different: the good and the evil,a human and a vampire.
The scene-key of "Twilight" ,i thought is the next dialogue: "Edward: And so the lion fell in love with the lamb.
Bella: What a stupid lamb.
Edward: What a sick, masochistic lion."

In conclusion this film proove us that impossible love is the most beautiful love in the world.Probably, more beautiful than the blue eyes of Dorian Gray ;))
