Targoviste - between myth and reality
Synopsis
Centuries ago, Vlad Tepes, a Romanian prince, became well known in Europe because of his bloody habit, impaling. For this reason, people called him Vlad the Impaler. One of the favourite cities to express this bloody wish, was Targoviste. That’s why, Vlad the Impaler has been associated with Dracula, and Targoviste as one of Dracula’s house.
How does it look Targoviste nowadays?
A very quiet town, the only army that makes noise is for the celebration of the town.
Αιώνες πριν, γράφουν οι Ρουμάνοι συνεργάτες μας, ένας αιμοσταγής ηγεμόνας της Βλαχίας, ο Βλαντ Τέπες, ήταν διαβόητος στην Ευρώπη για τη συνήθειά του να ανασκολοπίζει τους εχθρούς του. Ένα από τα κάστρα του, το κάστρο του Δράκουλα βρίσκεται στην πόλη μας, Ταργκοβίστε, σήμερα μια ήσυχη επαρχιακή πόλη. Ο μόνος στρατός που παρελαύνει είναι οι κάτοικοι κατά τις τοπικές γιορτές.

Congratulations for the quiz, Miss Carmen!!It was very interesting.I have to admit that the quotation containing-to be in love with love-touched my romantic side and I love it.
And also for the paper collectors the certificate was a good motivation.
We tried the quiz today and thought is was fun. It got us thinking... As a teacher, I found the questions that need Web navigation very good. We twinned your quiz with one of our own. Hope you enjoy it!
This quiz was very exciting.I tested my memory,i learned new information and i discovered that "The picture of Dorian Grey" is a wonderfool book -a spring,a source of quatotions. :)
P.S.:i love the books that i read with the pencil in my hand ..like this one.

Reading the transcription of the chat I couldn't help realizing how the dynamic nature of live communication isn't done justice when transcribed. Our chat initiated topics that we discussed much better and in a more coherent way on the 20th of November. I suppose this proves that practice makes perfect!
