A while ago we found an unexpected vintage item in the school's basement. A ROYAL 10 typing machine! Students removed Time's dusty traces from it, took pictures and navigated to find more. This heavy american-made machine was so strong, they used to throw it in crates from airplanes to prove it doesn't break! Read all about it here. Although the make goes back to 1914 as a termimus post quem, we like to see it as Mina's typing machine in our library!
Την άνοιξη ανακαλύψαμε τυχαία στο υπόγειο του σχολείου τη θαυμάσια αντίκα της φωτογραφίας. Μια γραφομηχανή ROYAL 10 με την παλιά ταινία της ακόμα κουλουριασμένη. Οι μαθητές αφαίρεσαν με προσοχή τα σημάδια του χρόνου, τη φωτογράφησαν, έρχονταν να την περιεργαστούν και έψαξαν στο Ίντερνετ για πληροφορίες. Ήταν τόσο ανθεκτική, που την έριχναν για επίδειξη σε κιβώτια από τα αεροπλάνα και δεν έσπαγε! Αν και η πρώτη κατασκευάστηκε στην Αμερική το 1914, θέλουμε να την βλέπουμε σαν τη γραφομηχανή της Μίνα από το Δράκουλα. Περισσότερα εδώ.
